From a nature/scenic standpoint, hiking at about 13K in Colorado is pretty sweet
Most of the best pieces of real estate that I've ever been on are tied to golf courses. Two of my favorites are the 11th, 17th and 18th holes at Kapalua Plantation and Arcadia Bluffs in Michigan
Yeah, well, stay the fuck out of my bay with your errant shots.

Newberry Crater Natl. Monument near Bend, OR is National Park worthy. Giant obsidian flow, double crater lakes with hot spring beaches, twin waterfalls exiting caldera, and the highest road in Oregon that terminates with view of caldera, obsidian flow, and Three Sisters,

Uh, it’s Kent, not Burien. I own the album “Folk Songs of South King County.” “Kent in the Moonlight” is the best ballad. Best song of course is “Kegger in the Field.” The Young brothers used to kick themselves for not coming up with something like that.DerekJohnson said:

Columbia river gorge around multnomah falls through hood river And bridge of the gods area is probably my favorite be it by car or by boat out of the river. Probably the best stretch of interstate ( I-84 ) anywhere in the country.

Just went through, and this was my favorite part of visiting the Yellowstone region. I personally think it surpasses Rocky Mountain National Parks Trail Ridge Road. The drop and scenery in Rock Creek canyon to Red Lodge was spectacular. No hail or rain. The Sawtooths of Idaho are pretty spectacular as well, and I'm already planning on a trip back to Redfish Lake. Some of the deep river canyons in Idaho are excellent drives.

Agree. I know I'm in the minority but RMNP is a bit overrated for me. Beartooth is definitely underrated.
