Kind of a weird offer. Even if we are all of a sudden in need of another TE, we offer a kid from Missouri who has been committed to Missouri for a long time and also holds an offer from Bama.
If we're working the "now that we've shown what a TE can do in our offense" angle, then why not shoot a little higher?
As much as we're all happily drinking the kool aid right now I still suspect that the staff sometimes have no fucking clue what they are doing in recruiting at times ... leave it for forum nerds to sniff out the details ...
His aunt and uncle lived here for quite some time and he's been in the area before. Apparently he really likes it up here.
Washington reached out to him to see how interested he was and he told them he was very interested in what they had to offer, so the Huskies extended an offer his way.
It sounds like Washington expects some attrition at the TE spot and that's how a spot opened up for him.
From all of the intel I've gathered, it sounds like, while he's interested in the Huskies, he's very likely going to stick with his commitment to Missouri. If there was an opportunity for an official visit, maybe they would be able to sway him, but since that isn't the case, I highly doubt he will wind up a Dawg. Now, if he pushes his decision out until February, there's a decent shot he flips. I just don't see it happening at this point.

It's the smile. Puffy lips peeled back, just like Cade Otton. That's a clear indicator of his prowess as a TE.
