Couldn't happen to a more deserving state. You get what you vote for, unless of course the election is stolen.
It does make you wonder, we had two tightly contested recalls in the last 20 years, then all of a sudden they are blowouts are accepted as the norm the last three cycles.

He is drafting an order which would require masks worn at all times outside the home, even while driving. Edit: and directing WSP to arrest non-compliers.

Governor of Maryland said there’s nothing in the constitution that says you have a right to not wear a mask.

    Doublethink.

I hope you’re joking, but this actually sounds like something he would do.

I don't think it's that curious. Dino Rossi was a moderate conservative, so he had wide appeal. Same goes for McKenna. And of course the whole state continued to shift left since then.

The last two guys, Bryant and Culp, were absolutely pathetic candidates, so their trouncing comes as no surprise. If the WA GOP stops diddling themselves and gets serious, we might have some actual contests on the future. Especially if Seattle keeps raising the bar with their nonsense.

    Nope, not joking.

Same source said Inslee is likely going to DC - not a big shock there - but that an announcement is possible next week. If not next week, due to some bs about when the best political timing is to announce, it would end up not happening until January.

The only GOP candidate with a pulse and shot at winning - with good political timing also needed - is Kim Wyman. GOP has been trying to get her to run but she's comfortable staying as Secretary of State. My hope is she gives it a run when she's ready to either be Gov or retire.

Yikes. That means he gets to pick someone even worse than him to run the state further into the ground.

It's mostly contained to puget sound in warshington, but it's mob rules times now, so the rest of the state gets to take it in the ass and is told to get over it, consent, unity and all that bullshit.

No, Lieutenant Governor runs it for a while until a special election is held.

Gray's Harbor is now solid republican. Incumbent Dems are all gone. Kitsap, both Reps are republicans, the Senator is a D and should be very vulnerable as she is way outside what fits the county.
