Back during WTO, I was working late with my friend/boss. We were doing proposals in her office with the radio on. Mayor Paul Schell was on the bullhorn, "PLEASE give us our city back. PLEASE!"

Schell bought pizza for the protestors, which pissed off the cops because he did't buy them any.

This was late November, early December 2000.

Chaos continued. Windows getting smashed, people getting attacked. My friend/boss turned toward the radio and said, "Just turn the water hoses on them, they'll lose their enthusiasm in a hurry!"

WTO was a special case planned well in advance by those nihilistic shit heads. Ain’t no one rioting in Minneapolis in January.
