It’s a movie so of course the story is exaggerated, but Herman Boone wasn’t such a great guy after all. Flip flopped on many of his statements to play the race card and make money as a speaker. -

My comment about Drivers-Ed teacher Boone was with that implication though since he was an asshole teacher by all accounts.
