This just further confirms the empirical evidence I have gleaned from my day to day life. I happen to frequent a gym that does not follow covid mask or social distancing policy and no one has died or been wiped out from severe illness.

Where are you getting 2.5%?

The CDC infection fatality rate is .02% if you are under 50 and .5% if you are under 70

We did start this thing off with the belief that most people were going to catch the virus but that we just needed to slow the spread, the "spread" which we believed was inevitable. Somehow that morphed into no one anywhere ever catching the virus.
