The death rate today is 2.5% of those infected by the virus. In May it was 4.6%. As more people contract the virus, the survival rate will continue to rise toward 98%, as the death rate drops to 2%. Trump has cut the death rate almost in half, as of today, and it continues to drop, daily.

A buddy of mine who just retired from a large international drug company said the actual death rate is probably 1% or lower, because 50 to 100 million Americans have already had the virus without knowing it.

What does this mean? It confirms what we already know: HHusky is a ridiculously stupid scared little girl who delights in death and roots for the virus. It's all he's got.

    Nah -he's getting paid.

Nobody posts the stupid shit the Dazzler does without some kind of click incentive in place.

Occam's Razor says the dazzler is a paid internet troll. A much simpler explanation than believing he has a law degree and an MBA.

"Most likely, the excess deaths account for some otherwise untallied Covid-19 deaths — those who may have died without being tested or who died at home and whose deaths were not counted as caused by the coronavirus. But the 300,000 number probably also includes people who died because they were scared to seek out medical care because of the pandemic or had their care interrupted, and because of other causes."

From the article you shared @HHusky . I don't believe supporting your claim with conjecture is a solid point of argument. This just further confirms the empirical evidence I have gleaned from my day to day life. I happen to frequent a gym that does not follow covid mask or social distancing policy and no one has died or been wiped out from severe illness.

    Where are you getting 2.5%?

The CDC infection fatality rate is .02% if you are under 50 and .5% if you are under 70

The instant COVID death rate is pretty low for sure. Some viruses take quite a while. Hopefully this isn’t one.

I'm old enough to remember when it was two week, three tops

How many years should we hide under the bed?

We did start this thing off with the belief that most people were going to catch the virus but that we just needed to slow the spread, the "spread" which we believed was inevitable. Somehow that morphed into no one anywhere ever catching the virus.
Yes because the libs need to keep bashing Trump to win the white house. That is all they got.
