From low levels, increases are very large.

North Dakota's percentage of population infected has roared past 5%.

South Dakota will get there by the weekend, if not sooner.

At least I guess you can feel good if you compare yourself to Andorra.

You can't even acknowledge facts and data which show that locking everything down does not work. So, what is your solution?

It seems to me that without a vaccine this thing will ebb and flow for a long time and people just need to come to grips with that reality and start living our lives again.
    Hopefully to kill himself

We always knew the virus would become worse this winter. The difference between us and Europe is we had surrender at the national level. The Dakotas, which did next to nothing at the state level, have been surging since August. The Winter is only going to increase their pain. Their near neighbors aren't going to be terribly happy with them either.

You all want to bitch about Inslee. Look at our numbers. The "solution" was to lower the numbers before Winter. Welcome to Sturgis!

So now you want a one size fits all approach? National lockdown and mask mandate?

South Dakota is better off than Inslee land. Let's take that approach nationally.

Lockdowns destroyed people's lives, homes. and business and didn't work. That is a fact. And that's what you want mandated nationally

    Fuck off indeed

more Cases = more people immune

herd immunity in low risk populations needs to be achieved to protect the high risk population groups.

Anyone thinking that covid can be eliminated via containment is a retard.

As is anyone who thought containment was ever sold as a Covid elimination strategy.

Democrats fighting democrats. But SOUTH DAKOTA!!!!!!!!!

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot warned Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s planned rollback of coronavirus reopenings will have a devastating impact on the city’s economy just as it is beginning to recover from the damage caused by earlier lockdowns.

Pritzker on Tuesday ordered Chicago’s bars and restaurants to curtail indoor dining options beginning Friday due to a recent surge in new COVID-19 infections.

Chicago has seen eight straight days of increases in its seven-day rolling average test positivity rate, which reached 7.8% on Friday. Hospital admissions have increased for seven consecutive days. Cities across the country are facing similar reversals of reopening plans as case counts reach new heights.

Pritzker’s order comes as the harsh Chicago winter approaches, leaving many restaurants with take-out as their only means of business.

“If the governor’s order goes into effect, it’s really effectively shutting down a significant portion of our economy” when many businesses are hanging on by a thread, Lightfoot told PBS.

Lockdowns ordered by Pritzker in March that were aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19 caused Chicago’s economy to contract by 10% and forced hundreds of businesses to permanently close their doors. Scores were left fighting for their survival.

    IT DOESN'T FUCKING WORK
