I heard two Karen’s with teens in tow, while waiting for the light to change on the corner, bitching about how sick they are of Take-out; how it’s just not the same and Never worth the price, yada yada and can not wait for the day when they can Finally go to a real restaurant, sit down and get served.
The light changed, we all crossed the street, I opened the door and my wife and I walked into Jak’s in Issaquah to sit down in a real restaurant and sit down.
Jak’s is the best steak for your money in town. Great choice. I recommend the full size sirloin, it’s a baseball cut.
Served my sister a ribeye that was legit 40% fat, waitress and manager extensively argued with her and then the whole table that ribeye is a fatty cut, they finally relented and took it back to the kitchen, saw that it was what it was and came back out and effusively apologized, asked all the cooks why they would serve that piece of meat. I don't even think they comped the steak, maybe offered a free dessert. Amazingly terrible customer service experience for an a la carte $60 steak place.
