Cancer is spreading again. I recall working college summers in the gaslands of SW Wyoming and stumbling across him on AM radio. Listened to him and found myself agreeing with much of what he said. A nice respite from on-campus in Eugene and an alternative opinion.

1994 right before the GOP take over of the House for 1st time in 40 years. Rush was on fire that entire summer and into the Fall and did more than probably any other one person to help the Republicans takeover the House.

Exactly, Rush was saying what tens of millions of American's knew to be true but absolutely no one in the MSM was saying it. There were initial surprised thoughts about can he really say that? Of course, the honest conversation dems then pushed for a new fairness doctrine to try to shut him up. Tried to boycott him. Nothing worked.
