A win is a win at this point, but that was almost disastrous. This team needs Harvin next week or I think they lose.
Why do they need Harvin? I don't follow the NFL until after CFB is over, but if memory serves Harvin didn't play at all this year?
It was obvious in one half of football today that he is the best WR on the team, certainly the most explosive, and the offense has sucked the past month. It needs a boost, and Harvin can provide that, and did in the first half today. Not to mention he's arguably the best KR in the league.
A lot of Doom and Gloom. Offense needs to be better but we still scored 23 points that isn't exactly. Wilson does need to be much better though because he has been below average as of late.
That was almost a fluky comeback like the Stanford/Oregon game this year. After an entire game of domination some things went their way.
I think whoever Seahawks play next week it is 50/50 not super confident but also not blowing this out of proportion.
D is still playing pretty lights out and we got the running game going again, that is huge.
I remember being sick about the pete carrol hire. Now, i cant imagine ever having to replace him. We (sorry paul allens team) obviously havent done anything yet but, everything this guy touches turns to gold. Or they get cut.
They're going to have to rely on the defense and special teams next week (water is wet). Either team's front seven will probably shut down Lynch. Hopefully brittle Harvin is back. Otherwise I can't see them scoring more than 17 if that. Still, they probably have a 65% chance of winning. Neither Kaepernick nor sCam really scare me - the Hawks have proven they can contain their runs.
Harvin back would be huge. Even just a few plays from him can lead to an extra TD or FG.
Carolina is definitely preferred. The Saints dominated them at home and should have beat them on the road. Carolina barely beat Atlanta on the road. Because of QB play and experience, Saints are a better playoff team than Carolina.
I think the Hawks D could shutout Carolina. Their offense won't do shit. I could see a 10-0 or 13-3 type game going into the 4th quarter.
SF has experience and knows what to expect at the Clink. Their defense isn't quite as good as people think but it we won't score more than 20. If SF has less 2 TO's then they have the offense that could score 17-20.
RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have announced that tickets for the NFC Championship Game to be played on Sunday, January 19 at CenturyLink Field will go on sale Monday, January 13 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to fans with a billing address in WA, OR, MT, ID, AK, HI and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.
Seahawks will win next week in an ugly game then win the super bowl in an ugly game. It's how all of their games have gone in the Carroll era for the most part.
