Again, we've known this now for a few years and of course Schiff and the Rats lied and claimed this wasn't the case and that the FBI had fully investigated and independently corroborated all of the allegations against Page. Pretty much everything that Nunes and the GOP has said on this matter has turned out to be accurate while everything the Rats and Schiff said on it was a fucking lie and watch, you won't find a single Rat party supporter call out Schiff or admit they swallowed pure bullshit.
Liberals love being lied to and they fully expect their leaders to lie to them and they like it.

Btw, this very same strategy continued after Trump took office. People in the DOJ or the FBI or in our intelligence agencies would leak to the press, usually the NYTimes or the WaPo and then Mueller and the Rats would use that reporting to justify continuing or furthering the investigation. It's why idiots like IC so often found themselves swallowing pure bullshit. The fact that none of the reporters have revealed who it was that was feeding what we now know to be disinformation, tells you that the press was completely in on this.
Does anyone else recall the Wikileaks info the revealed the members of the press who coordinated their "reporting" with the DNC the Hillary campaign? -

Not sure I buy the press being in on the hoax it at the time of the leaks and they likely didn’t have anything that countered that. They are in on it now though I agree, ignoring the actual facts to avoid backtracking and looking stupid. They are praying for Biden so this goes away just like many others.
