This is awesome, but it also buried the lede. I'm guessing this twatter is either a black-hearted Rebel Halfbrain or a... Crimson Tood? Because the twat would have been even more amazing if it concluded with, "...and yet it was a one-score game until 3:16 left in the 4th."
Anyone could coach the Alabama offense but Sark has never been as bad of coordinator as many here thought.
Ya seriously. I imagine his flameout was pretty brutal to watch for non sadistic people, but Saban still saved his ass. Doubt Bush would get a FCS spot if he'd been a drunk mess.
Sark at least took shots downfield without needing a triple flea flicker to disguise it. Price used to make pretty much all the throws for better or worse.

Bush would be in the FCS or lower if he were a drunk mess.
Sark was pumped up for years. It helps to waltz into jobs at USC under Carroll and be a part of the CFB media machine. He definitely benefited from Norm Chow being a weird guy that was unable to get along with Carroll too.
He’s had a lot of luck in his career but pretty much every school in the country and half the NFL teams would be happy to hire him as their coordinator.
Pete lived off the Boise years as an offensive mind too. Even last year he was included in polls for the best offensive coaches in the country and actual coaches voted for him and he was like 3rd or 4th in the results.

Wouldn’t say that chow was weird as much as prideful (rightfully so). PC wanted his 30 year old godson to take over playcalling and basically sideline norm, the year after one of the greatest ncaa offenses ever

Commented to my wife Shane during the Bama game when the announcers said "what a great play call by Sark" that I could call plays for that offense and be decent at it. Sark is not a total shitshow as an OC but my God, he has lucked into calling plays for 2 of the most talented teams during their respective eras.
