Good call-out thread. Costello had literally the worst performance I've ever seen yesterday. He made Ronnie Fouch look like Russell Wilson. Breathtaking levels of bad.
Most of us (myself included) were hilariously wrong. Creep I know your instinct is to emote, growl and scratch at the OP but you might just want to take the L here.

Um. One brilliant game. Then one horrible game. And we’ve concluded what, exactly, about the original point? Remember what the argument was and, more importantly, what it wasn’t. All the savior rhetoric is just an attempt to reframe the discussion, which centered around more competition.

That broadcasting doog is a pathetic little bitch, but the jury came back on that one a long time ago.

Emotion has nothing to do with it.
I prefer my creeps when they emote growl and scratch
Hey, I like holding a grudge for eight months to come back and try to prove a poont. But,I don’t see what’s proven here.
The guy who led the Pac-12 in interceptions in 2018 is throwing a lot of interceptions in the offense of a guy who’s team usually leads the conference in interceptions is throwing a lot of them?
Is that worthy of pounding your chest? Like, this is your threshold to think “I owned that guy”? Pathetic.
Costello just set the SEC passing record a few weeks ago. He leads the country in passing yardage. Miss St has almost always been mediocre, finishes between 9th and 11th in SEC recruiting, is on their third coach and offensive system in four years, and it takes Leach years he won’t be allowed to have to become competitive.
Doesn’t mean Washington shouldn’t have taken Costello. In 2018 he threw 11 picks, but he also led the conference in passer rating and other meaningful stats. You don’t pass up an experienced QB who has done that.

Exactly. Especially when your rationale for not doing so is that you might hurt the other QBs’ feelings.

Nobody is dropping 8 against a double TE set.
You’ve actually been waiting for Costello to play badly since February? Alright, sure, ok.
If this is your high water mark, you might consider setting yourself on 🔥 or something.
But tell me: where were you last week? Shitting your pants? Picking up it spots?
Well that didn't age well. Maybe win a few more games before you start giving the SEC Bravo Juliets KJ.
