I always chamber a round when I leave the house; if a situation suddenly develops you need to be ready. That’s preparedness, not premeditation. Now, shooting someone for macing you? That’s going to be harder to fight.

Private security for press in broad daylight in front of cops is not the same as private security for a fixed location business at night in a police no-go zone.
