not offering Herbert was really stupid based on who we took instead, although by his own admission, he came up to UW for a camp and performed terribly. Also, he would have eventually gotten the Oregon offer and would have flipped to them.

I'm not sure Rypien would have done that much better than Browning in this offense.

Hear ya, however I think Rypiens arm was much better than Brownings. That would’ve opened up the O more. At a minimum, he’s in the league and our guy’s garbage.

I’m surprised Herbert is as good as he is. It’s a good thing. Oregon was lucky Arroyo left because he was a pretty bad coordinator.
