Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
After watching a Chinese movie called Us and Them, and then spending the summer of 2020 watching three seasons of Japan's Terrace House, my Netflix suggestions filter has been offering every Asian movie and TV show produced in the past 20 years.
I just finished watching a South Korean TV drama called My Mister. 16 episodes and about 25 hours. You have to go through many hours of grimness, sadness and occasional anguish. But the payoff in the last couple of episodes is fantastic. I was deeply moved by the show and also appreciated how understated it was. I would be shocked if even one Half Brain decided to watch it, but that won't stop me from recommending it. The two leads, Lee Sun-kyun and Lee Ji-eun, are great actors.

One of the early scenes that is great. Ji-An finally begins to soften a bit. (w/English subtitles)
