I think there are a lot of people that don't view what the Democratic Party is promoting as Socialism/Communism ... or don't feel that that can happen in the US
I know that there are a lot of people that view Trump as a mean bully and feel that the Office of the Presidency requires a certain way of treating people.
I suspect that's more what The Rock is basing his decision on ... but who really knows.
This is the most fucked up election of at least my lifetime ... significantly more fucked up than 2016.
He has no choice. It is easy for him. Make hundreds of millions or go to the lines for casting calls.
