I used to watch a LOT of basketball. Quite easily - between AAU, high school ball, CC and college a few years back - I personally watched over 150 games in person in one year. Plug in probably a game a night on TV, plus March Madness which always had 3 TVs on at once, I was likely pushing somewhere between 350 and 400 games. I ALWAYS had basketball on and my kid playing JC ball and was a hoop freaks too. Probably explains why Mrs. Throbber v2.0 sought solace in @Doog_de_Jour 's arms but I disgress.

Haven't watched a second of any Lakers game since this SJW bullshit started. Just not gonna do it. Watched maybe less than two quarters or the rest of the playoffs combined and that was in the early rounds just flipping through channels on the way to HGTV or Kayleigh pressers.

Fuck those guys.

IIRC, one of the board regulars admitted last month that he had not heard about Taylor's boyfriend instigating the gunfire. I'm guessing it will be news for a lot of folks watching Barkley as well.

Ah sir Charles... I "met" him in Vegas at the Caesar's palace years ago. I didn't know he was there. Was playing blackjack and there was a guy next to me talking about how Charles was going to run for the governor or Alabama. Well I yelled in shock, now way would Charles ever win, I was shocked he was running... well then I look up and who is starring me down... but sir Charles himself. Yup he was at a table across the way. He gave me the biggest go to hell, I'm going to beat you look and I quietly left that casino(not about to deal with his security lol. Next week he dropped out of the race. I will never know if I had any influence or not, but I am proud of it lol

I really can't fault him too much for shooting as the door came off the hinges. If he really didn't hear them say they were the police and only heard someone loudly pounding on the door at 1:00am in the morning what would you have done in that situation? The whole thing was one giant cluster fuck. I don't fault the cops for returning fire once fired upon but I can't really fault him for shooting at someone who he believed was breaking into the apartment.

I can't believe a guy with no criminal record and a legal firearm is just going to open up on the cops. I have to believe he didn't know that it was the police at his door.

They announced and knocked even though they had a no knock warrant. I'll bet 5 bucks the cops recorded it but it hasn't been released.
