Mittens, thankfully is in a hard place. The dems will crucify Amy Barrett for being a Catholic. It's only okay if you are a fake Catholic like Pelosi or Biden and really worship PP. Substitute Mormon for Catholic and if Mittens votes against Amy he has just told his Church that no Mormon should hold public office. They should be disqualified as a result of their religion. He doesn't vote for Barrett, he will be totally ostracized by his fellow Mormons.

Not surprising. There's no coherent Constitutional argument for why Trump shouldn't put forth a nominee. McConnell and Graham may have exposed themselves as the spineless gremlins we always knew they were, but that doesn't change the principle of the current moment.

Yep. There are certain GOP senators (especially those two) who will come out looking like major hypocrites.
