Any serious journalist would be disgusted by this. Are there any serious journalists left?

I don't reflexively trust Goldberg. And I sure as shit don't reflexively trust whoever the fuck "TechnoFog" is along with whichever dipshit blogger from PJMedia you linked.
What's telling though is that John Bolton is denying any of this was ever said. That's about as scathing of a rebuttal as you can find. -

All journalists are leftists cunts -
This. When the story first broke I doubted it, but stayed very open to the possibility that something resembling this maybe was said, because Trump is known for saying dumbshit things. But when Bolton, who loathes Trump, said it never happened, that put the nail in the coffin for me. Fake news.GreenRiverGatorz said:I don't reflexively trust Goldberg. Why consider Facts when you have such strongly held feelings.GreenRiverGatorz said:I don't reflexively trust Goldberg. And I sure as shit don't reflexively trust whoever the fuck "TechnoFog" is along with whichever dipshit blogger from PJMedia you linked.

In a 24hr news cycle, this was a calculated move by dem operatives, working with Atlantic Staffers. It’s low risk/high reward. Clearly, the story is, at best, highly embellished, and at worst, completely fabricated. So what’s the fallout?
Is the Atlantic going to lose subscribers or advertisers? Highly unlikely.
Will this cause any former Biden supporters to switch to Trump? Of course not.
Will any former Trump supporters switch to Biden? Probably not, in any meaningful numbers.
Will any undecided/center voters ultimately choose Trump because they feel as though this was mis-reported? Maybe, but not in meaningful numbers.
Will any undecided voters see the original story as it was covered by CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg etc etc etc and decide that Trump hates our servicemen and that’s enough to get them to hold their nose and make the decision to vote for Biden? Probably.
The battleground is with the undecided voters in swing states. The partisans have drawn their lines in the sand and Neither candidate is going to lose their base. This is about seeing what lies you can get away with or which will have minimal blowback. Pure and simple.
If you polled 1000 undecided voters and asked them what they know about Trump and the funeral in Paris, 90% of them are gonna say They heard he skipped it and called our troops a bunch of suckers and losers, because it SEEMS like something they’ve heard or seen him say in other contexts prior.
10% are gonna say that they heard the story turned out to be untrue and that they are totally turned off by what seems to be coordinated effort between the DNC and major news outlets to lie to the American people.
That 80% delta was worth it for them to lie, and it likely paid off. -
Bolton denies he (Bolton) heard Daddy say any of this. Nothing more.GreenRiverGatorz said:

Pathetic HH. Just pathetic.

"I didn't hear that," Bolton told The New York Times. "I'm not saying he didn't say them later in the day or another time, but I was there for that discussion."Bendintheriver said:Pathetic HH. Just pathetic.
