Unneeded global panic. Amazing the New York Times is reporting this.

Let’s make sure we get as many positive tests as we can so we can fear Monger the public into submission. Even when the positive test is bullshit.

It's kinda a big deal. A large number of people may have had their civil rights violated in the name of (flawed) science. Science has been treated more like shariah law during the pandemtifada, a divine proclamation to which no higher authority can be appealed.

This is an excellent and profound poont. This "science" based approach to governance reminds me of something else as well.

Science, which is a process or method not a singular thing, has no morality or values. That is a good thing, so long as it is acknowledged. Science is an input, a crucial one, to governance and policy but ought not be the totality of it. One can rationalize some pretty godawful things in the name of science alone.

If we simply took Darwin to its conclusion a couple hundred thousand old and sick dead is really no big deal. Quite common really

    Exactly.

In more concrete terms that #mylefties might sympathize with more, look at the interface of science and law in criminal defense.

Fuck your new sign pic. Every one of your posts I have to stop and watch her go through the cycle a couple times.

    Kudos.
