Creepy, did you listen to the old Cuban guy at the convention last night?

I heard a good part of it. It was very well done and moving.

I had this older Russian lady in my car as an uber driver in San Francisco and she was telling me stories about the soviets how one day they just took her home. Poof. And others. And she comes over here and its great and she can't understand how anyone could want to be a liberal now days. They are pulling for what she escaped.

The Cuban guy rocked it. I know someone with a similar story.

Believe it or not, I missed most of it. I’m moving my kid into an apartment and hot spot WiFi was in and out for the TV. I intend to watch the whole thing when the FIOS guy gets here tomorrow.

People have reached out though and I’ve heard it was good. For a lot of people on the west coast, this is their first exposure to a typical Miami Cuban. It’s an entirely different mindset when your family lost everything in a socialist revolution.
@CreepyCoug: One item on my bucket list is to drink myself drunk as fuck with you and some other HH degenerates in the real Havana.

Odds of it actually happening, are what?

Kind of hard to vote for socialists when you've been shot at by them. #MySalvis know what's up down here too.
Yeeup. That’s why Bernie was an absolute over-my-dead-body. Some in the Tug respected his honesty. I respect nothing about him.
It's not you though it's the next generation. How they feel?

Bartender huh? Why didn't you just run for Congress like AOC? Seems like an easy career path versus hard work.

When I was a 22 year old bartender renting an apartment with a couple friends I would have listened to Bernie and would have thought he made some good points. At 41 having worked hard for 17 years with the same company, moved up the chain, sacrificed my time and energy into advancement, bought a house after saving my 20% down and renovated that house and property with my own hard earned money, I think Bernie and all socialists can pound sand. Work hard, say yes sir or no ma'am when given feedback on performance. Say you will do better and then put forth effort to DO BETTER. You will succeed. If you do those things in my company you will move up the chain like I did. If you are a POC or a woman and you do those things you will make a whole lot more money than myself. They are desperate for minorities to be in a position of influence and they will slide you right up the line if you show the least amount humility and gumption. It's not impossible, It's humbling sometimes but not impossible. Fuck socialism.

You know there's a light that glows by the front door
Don't forget the key's under the mat
    When childhood stars shine
    Always stay humble and kind

Go to church 'cause your mamma says to
Visit grandpa every chance that you can
    It won't be wasted time
    Always stay humble and kind

Hold the door, say "please", say "thank you"
    Don't steal, don't cheat, and don't lie
I know you got mountains to climb
But always stay humble and kind
When the dreams you're dreamin' come to you
When the work you put in is realized
    Let yourself feel the pride
But always stay humble and kind

Don't expect a free ride from no one
Don't hold a grudge or a chip and here's why
    Bitterness keeps you from flyin'
    Always stay humble and kind

Know the difference between sleeping with someone
And sleeping with someone you love
    "I love you" ain't no pick-up line
So always stay humble and kind

Hold the door, say "please", say "thank you"
    Don't steal, don't cheat, and don't lie
I know you got mountains to climb
But always stay humble and kind
When those dreams you're dreamin' come to you
When the work you put in is realized
    Let yourself feel the pride
But always stay humble and kind

When it's hot, eat a root beer popsicle
Shut off the AC and roll the windows down
    Let that summer sun shine
    Always stay humble and kind

Don't take for granted the love this life gives you
When you get where you're going don't forget turn back around
And help the next one in line
    Always stay humble and kind
