Pretty much all Democrats were racists back then, so it’s a slippery slope if they want to accuse a right-leaning 3rd party woman who wanted women to vote of it and collected anti-slavery petitions as a teen as a racist, too.
A good reminder that Democrats were also opposed to women voting, along with being pro-slavery. Quite the 1800s for Team Blue. -
