Genuinely curious, it seems like a few years ago when the NCAA opened the floodgates and seems to have developed the policy of not giving a shit if bags are handed out it's all but assumed that's it's fine now but I've gotten no actual even ballpark of how big these bags actually are. Anybody have an idea?

Gonna need an expert like @HopateDawg to ‘weigh‘ in on this one.
It obviously varies, and it’s not always a lump sum cash payment. Sometimes it’s jobs, housing, electric bills, escorts, citizenship, cars, etc. Jesus Shuttlesworth could have gotten a gubernatorial pardon for his pops murder conviction.
Cam Newton’s dad wanted $500k from Miss St but only $250k from Auburn with a relevancy discount. It usually commensurates to how desired the recruit is; a 5-star LT is definitely getting a top of the line Hemi from Dodge of Tuscaloosa with a mystery box in the trunk, while the low 4-star TE is going to be lucky to get a returned lease Challenger.

Sooooo... Was the last year's model V60 offered by Volvo Cars Seattle inadequate to lock down Stump Van Nostrom, or was it the lackluster stroopwafel bar in the Don James center on his visit that cost UW this crucial local PSA?

I saw on the Oregon boards that the staff had stopped recruiting Stump around December once he posted his Zwarte Piet costume on Instagram. Maybe Washington dropped him as well, to be able to show Savvy Smalls a pie chart or a bar graph related to that.
