    No, it's a dumb way to kick the hornet's nest. Nobody who is still on the fence at this point is going to be swayed by that.

    I wasn’t arguing the merits over it being a deliberate destruction of the economy.

    I was saying that if he starts peddling that theory, it will gain zero traction with anyone on the fence. People who think that are voting for him anyway. He should phrase his economic platform as “look what I did, I can do it again.” I think that sells better than saying there was an effort to discredit him by intentionally putting 46 million people out work.
