There were actually convictions directly related to Whitewater, though. The Valerie Plame Hoax and the Russian Collusion Hoax resulted in zero convictions related to what was supposed to be investigated. Patrick Fitzgerald knew from the beginning that Richard Armitage was the “leaker” to Novak but continued the investigation to harm Dubya Bush and find at least one process crime.SFGbob said:

Which is more likely?
(A) Pelosi doesn’t know the difference between a commutation and a pardon, or
(B) she knows the difference but her idiotic supporters don’t the difference and pardon sounds more nefarious?

But but but it wasn’t a partisan investigation at all. None of these guys will face any consequences for their lies and corruption. Barr and Durham are cleaning up the mess for their DOJ pals.
