And so what? Is it worth 44 million unemployed? I’m guessing you’re on the Mom and Dad plan still based on how and what you write here. Do you have a mortgage? Car payments? Kids? Health insurance payments? Life insurance payments?

I lead a more ruggedly individualistic adult life than you might believe, hence why yours and millions of others frustrations over the shutdown is understandable and valid. I don’t presume to know the economic or employment opportunities of others, so who am I to tell them how to feel about this if they’re now unemployed because of it? Sounds fairly arrogant to me.

You seem to support the shutdown in your posts. Why, when it’s impacting so many families financially and mentally?

It’s been a difficult conversation to have with people. I thought it was a big enough deal to restrict certain activities from the start but always admitted you can’t stay shut down forever. 40+ million unemployed is staggering and more are coming. It takes a pretty fucking horrible human being to celebrate any numbers, ancillary or otherwise, for COVID.

Welcome to the world of @HHusky, UW grad and also claims to have both a JD and an MBA. That’s his latest troll shtick here. An absolute sociopath and he’s a Democrat.

I see it thusly: the by-any-means necessary crowd doesn’t want to admit that their lives are going to be largely the same regardless of who wins the election. As much as I wish I had Damone-level fortunes and could rub elbows at the Bohemian Grove with Jeff Bezos and the lizard people, alas, I do not and likely never will. Their lives will be the same, my life will be the same, the people who root for COVID’s lives will be the same.
