Best rock album - 1994?

    I wouldn't rank "Dookie" the best if I heard it for the first time today, but man...back in middle school, when that album came out, it was the absolute tits.

    It's got some catchy tunes. I don't think it holds up that well 26 years later though.
    My GF loves Green Day, and her and I both have disdain for the others' musical taste. Therefore they suck.

    Actually catchy is exactly right. They sound good in the background but bore me if I pay attention.

    My answer would change all the time, but the Weezer album is great.

    I think STP Purple was released in 94 too and is easily their best album and when they proved they weren’t really a knock off Grunge band.

    It's a necessary evil for the successful raising of genetic copies of one's self.

    Yeah and whoeverput that idea in my head should be shot!

    Actually the minute plus of excitement, when I grunted my son into the ex in the bathroom while guests sat in the living room passing the bong, is about the fondest memory I have of that experiment. I guess I dont regret it.
