I’ve actually been watching a Great Courses series on The Black Death (it’s on Amazon Prime if you want to check it out). These cases still can be found all over the globe from tim to tim. If it gets caught quickly, it can be cured with antibiotics. Problem is it is so rare these days it is often misdiagnosed.
