    Highway 61 Revisited - Dylan

1965 was really the beginning of AOR with LPs that we great from start to finish. But this year is basically Rubber Soul vs Highway 61. The Beach Boys, Stones and Kinks still had a bit of filler on their 1965 albums along with the monster singles.

I could have gone with either of those.

I’m no Beatles authority, but as an album, this is top 2 for me for The Fabs...

It’s number 1 for me. Revolver was probably even more of a Great Leap Forward in terms of what could be achieved in the studio. But I like the songs on Rubber Soul more better. Dylan was still lyricaly heads and shoulders of the Beatles, but Rubber Soul expanded what Rock could be more than Hwy 61 I think.

I voted for America! Dylan doesn't count.

Revolver moves in and out of the #1 spot for me even though there are a couple of tracks I usually skip (cant listen to Gpt to Get You Into My Life at all). Rubber should has one of my favorite all time songs, Girl, but usually ranks 3-4 on my Beatles list.

Looking at results so far Rubber Soul will get an auto bid for winning 1965. Not sure yet if a second album from this year has enough of a HH following to get in.

JFC you cretins. Highway 61 Revisited not even in contention?

Yella you may have to flex a bit and decide for the people if they can't get it right themselves.

I will be exercising my editorial judgement as needed.
