Seattle Times, other media fight SPD subpoena for raw footage, photos of protests

I know the SeaTimes sucks ass to begin with, but didn't they write a thousand articles about OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE in the last 3 years?

I understand their argument pertaining to the safety of journalists but it looks like SPD is only chinterested in tracking down the stolen firearms. This is in a state that just passed an onerous law restricting transfer of guns including family members but the Times is arguing against helping the public safety. Fuck them.
