NY US House District 27 Special Election

To fill the seat vacated by GOP Chris Collins, who only won this seat by 1000 votes in 2018 due to some finance charges. Solid Red district in the past but these results are a surprise because of the margin. Had heard this was a potential flip because of the Collins controversy but an asskicking in a district Trump won by 25% in 2016. Media didn’t report it because there is no good news on this district for the Dems.

The bell curve is a powerful voting bloc.

The Dems have gone all in on the left side tail.
