In all honesty, if it wasn't for Saint Haden, Sark probably coaches UW for 3-4 more seasons. His win/loss and performance didn't deserve it, but Seattle bought his flair and sizzle, hook, line and sinker. Nobody sold "we are only a year away" more successfully than he did. The fact that he still got a job from Saban and the NFL after his USC binger speaks loudly to that fact.

Hasn’t coach a game yet and this is a thread. I love this board’s cynicism

Do you see this as a Final Four team?
    Sweet 16 imo

Nah, he was already running afoul of admin for heavy drinking and cavorting with undergrads, plus he was piling up 7 win campaigns. He seemed like he was about to close a big class, but he was already pissing off a significant minority of the fan base and another mediocre season would have all but doomed him with most of the fanbase. He did not have 3 seasons left at UW.

We? weren’t trying him anytime soon.

St Haden is canonized for a reason.

Best win of the Petersen era. If Pete was the guy that team wins 9 games that year and a better bowl. Maybe 10 because they should've beat Vaj as well.
