By this move it would seem Lake has little faith in his current stable of QBs
Here's my thought. Lake has been trying (and failing) since he took over to find an experienced QB. My chinner doog hopes he's doing that only because he wants someone on the sideline and in the QB meetings who can offer wisdom and some advice. The realist in me says he doesn't think he currently has a starter on offense.
My hope is that he dedicates more playing tim to the backup QB more than Pete than did.

Theres going to be a lot of intense film study this fall with no actual football being played. This measure just assures that we have four QBs working harder than ever (from home) in the extended offseason rather than three.
Not sure this isn’t more than just coverage for the QB room, esp in case we get a transfer of whichever guy (Sirmon or Morris or both if Garbers wins it) isn’t named starter. One of them leaves in the fall and we would be effed.
I expect at most our wild Dick formations will be run by this guy, but I’d be shocked if we see much more. He’s majoring in business so getting a local degree will be good for him if he’s planning on staying in the area.
