Goes back to the military or another PD. Grenade launchers aren't used for launching grenades. They fire foam tipped less lethal rounds. Only thing different about them compared to the ones police buy commercially is the sights/stock and I'm not sure that's much different anymore.

Yeah but the school cops get to keep the armored vehicle so they should be okay if any of the kids have a protest.

Armored cars are handy. Not very often but when you need one you need one.

They do make good PR tools kids love them.
