I texted my friend who lives in Seattle and asked him how he was going to like a city with no police. He had no idea that that was on the table or could even be a thing. I feel like a lot of Seattleites just check the Demo box on a ballot and then forget that they did it until the next election. Until he gets the petition in the mail asking for a donation for the private Montlake neighborhood security he won't even know what's going on or care. I used to skim the candidate platforms on each political side and bounce between parties. I might just vote Republican or libertarian down the line this year because the Dems have lost their fucking minds. I'm at a loss.

Ummmmmmmmm, that’s exactly what happens in every fucking election in WA State. Why do you think Seattle has turned into the fucking pathetic turmoil ridden shit hole it is?

And then they spend 4 years bitching and posting on blogs about running them out of office, just to hit the “D” again.
