    Can you imagine what SF would turn into? You would have the Tech elite compounds where they would have their socialist nirvanas, and outside of those it would be basically every SciFi movie’s dystopian war-zone shithole. And I don’t think it would take long to get there...they are already well along that route.

    The police should immediately pull all protection from the politicians who back this position. They should also abandon the courthouses and city hall. I’d love to see the Purge style reaction.
