One of my HS football asst coaches was a real dude from Castle Rock.
He once told us a story from a bit before his time (as I recall, being 18) regarding a trip of the Hells Angles riding up the coast with the destination being the top of the peninsula.
At Forks, the loggers, having caught wind of them coming in, blocked the road with their tractors. When the bikers showed the loggers roughed them up and sent them off.
I believe this story like Noah’s Flood. Perhaps not completely accurate but fun with some plausibility.
Later coauthored a Cheese themed school newspaper with him. Because I’m spoonieluv and that’s what I do. -

It's very simple. Protect yourself and property, e.g., one's rights. Don't interfere with anyone else's rights. I personally detest protesting of any stripe, but I defend people's right to do so. If this shit strays into pre-emptive action like blocking people from coming into town or whatever, problems happen. Agreed. But others don't, they will want to be more proactive. The people who say let the police handle it need to understand that has to mean something. If a dem says it, they could give a shit if the left is rioting.
