Nobody has been harder on Colin Kaepernick than you — what do you say to his supporters today?

Whitlock: What was he right about? That police brutality is bad? I’ve never met anyone who believes police brutality is good. Police brutality is a societal issue that impacts all demographics. Police brutality is an abuse of power and authority. Racializing the discussion of police brutality prevents us from framing the discussion properly and framing it in a way that moves us toward progress. It’s a mistake to trivialize the heinous crime that happened to George Floyd by making it a discussion about a quarterback who used the issue to promote his Nike brand and a signature gym shoe.

That's some pretty good shit right there. Of course we're white people are not allowed to say this.

Even black people who say it won't go unscathed.

Whitlock is a breath of fresh air. When social media started, I had a friend tell me that it would be the end of rational thought, facts and free speech. Facts now get you shamed on social media. My friend was on the money and reminds me of it often.

This part of the article was worth repeating:

Social media, its primary influencers, the blogosphere and the mainstream media all seem determined to promote irrational fear. They seem to want all people emotional and irrational. Irrational and emotional people surrender their rights more easily than rational and non-emotional people. Irrational and emotional people, especially when 40 million of them are newly unemployed, will choose rioting, violence and looting rather than a strategic response to injustice. Irrational and emotional people will unwittingly allow themselves to be used as cover for the violent, destructive behavior of anarchists. Irrational and emotional people will more easily buy propaganda spewed by communist countries trying to destabilize America.

Whitlock has paid a heavy price for such opinions before.
Yeah, I know. Shows what a lie the left's claim about "diversity" really is.

I generally hate Whitlock because he loves the smell of his own farts, but he’s spot on here.

The same thing will happen with the George Floyd case. You have intelligent people here who still spout the bullshit from the Trademark case. Once the left establishes their narrative it's hard for the truth to prevail.

This was intentional. Why do you think that Obama never publicly rebuked the members of his own party who were pushing the hands up don't shoot lie? It was too valuable for him politically and it continues to bare fruit for the Rat party to this very day to allow that false narrative to stand.

Pop can go fuck himself. He panders to the league, his players and its fans because he knows which side of his bread is buttered. Same with LeBron and all of them.

Their lives revolve around a child's game with a rubber ball, for fuck sake. Who gives a righteous fuck about anything they do or say outside the lines?

Don't start that shit, Bob. You know the disagreement revolves around presumptions and prejudices based on interpretations and inferences from only one side of the story, given the opposing viewpoint was shot dead that night.

Arguments are positions and beliefs. They aren't facts.

Shot dead while bashing Zimmerman’s head against the sidewalk. Trademark wanted to be the tough guy on the “cracker” and ended up getting killed. Boo hoo. Darwinism.

The only person between you and me who was citing nothing more than their feelings in regards to the Trademark case was you.

But, but the cops told Zimmerman not to chase Trademark, and Zimmerman had his gun drawn while he chased Trademark down a dark alley. And it's perfectly legal to assault someone and bash their head into the sidewalk if you're scared and being followed.
