Bob, I'm in the valley and I now live in the city not the country or a suburb. I'm behind a gate and a body of water so fairly protected. My wife and kids have been pretty nervous so I've got the shotguns out of the safe, ready to go. Even though she's nervous about the discontent, guns make my wife even more nervous so she thinks I'm being "over the top". Leaving the house this morning my neighbor waves me over (he owns a restaurant on the water) and asks if I need anything. I told him no I'm all good and protected but I thanked him for telling my wife that if she needs anything he's licensed to carry. He told me he has two shotguns loaded on his dining room table and he told his almost adult children to shoot to kill if anyone tries to get in. And my wife thinks I'm "over the top." At least mine are hidden behind some clothes in the closet. Shit needs to get put down soon or it's going to get crazy. The sheep need their sports and ESPN back as a distraction. Open it all back up. I guess the left would rather have dead people in the streets than granny dying in an old folks homes.
