What a difference a week makes.

This is what happens when you exalt someone FOR DOING THEIR FUCKING JOBS!!!

Goddamned orange slice participation trophy has seeped into our work ethic.

"Oh, you're so brave for working and pulling time and a half with primo bennies, pension and union representation'.....

Fuck off. That's the career you chose.
I didn't complain. Loved my job for most of my career. Not so much when the social justice bullshit showed up.

    Police "unions" are worthless.

I see no reason to hate on Public Employee Unions.

Complaints are a common suspect tactic. They were taught to complain about any contact by the lefty loons and their attorney. Dash and body cam along with audio recording have been the savior of the police departments. They almost never prove the complaint but instead disprove it. Makes to whole process much quicker and saves huge sums of money spent investigating complaints.

I hate stats like these. For starters, 18 complaints over a multi-decade career doesn't sound like many. Is it below average? Above average? Who the fuck knows without additional context. And only two resulted in discipline. The other 16 could've been dipshits who were angry about being pulled over for speeding.

Obviously Chauvin is a murderous asshole who needs to be in prison. But these context-free stats about his past don't offer any insight.

Police unions still suck, so don't twist.

The medias favorite tactic the past decade or so has been to throw out numbers with no context.
    "See we stick to facts!"

They bring the votes and the coveted public safety endorsement for mayoral candidates.

Not in Kali. Back east they have a little more pull. They do things different there. If it's unlawful to strike and they have laws that allow them to simply impose contracts unions are much less effective
