Because traditionally you stay in a hotel, and you're not renting out the entire operation, so your team has a lot more contact opportunities with other guests, maid staff, the waiters and hospitality and such. So that's one of the big factors that must be navigated

going out on a limb here and guessing ANY hotel in the greater montlake area would gladly cut a deal to give michigan a discounted rate.

A hotel would be smart in THIS ECONOMY to start reaching out to all the visiting teams to cut a deal right now.

If nobody is allowed to attend they should just play it at a semi-local high school field in BFE. Would at least bring some entertainment value.
