People shed this virus for weeks, at least. It doesn’t mean much that no one got infected if the carrier is no longer shedding the live virus.
This is actually good news in another respect. A South Korean study suggests that the so-called “reinfections” that have been reported are likely just the shedding of dead virus from the original infection. -
