    Not The Onion

Read an article yesterday on how teaching kids to square dance, I don’t know if they still do that but they did when I was a kid in gym class, along with other kinds of dances, is a form of white supremacy.

If you’re looking for Obama’s legacy, this hyper racialization of everything is it.
Twerking on ‘A’ days and Square Dancing on ‘B’ days seems like a reasonable compromise for public schools.

Imagine using the editorial board for the NYT to proclaim the publication as a whole isn’t doing its job to celebrate Memorial Day.

Huh? The editorial board IS the NYT. This reflects the ideology of the r. What an odd post.

Camp Benning was established in October 1909, after President Woodrow Wilson called for a special session of Congress.

When will the DNC be renouncing the sins of one of the most racist Presidents in the history of these United States?

Fort Pickett is a Virginia Army National Guard installation, located near the town of Blackstone, Virginia. Home of the Army National Guard Maneuver Training Center, Fort Pickett is named for the United States Army officer and Confederate General George Pickett.

Late in 1941 a team of Army surveyors visited the site of a former Civilian Conservation Corps camp near the small rural town of Blackstone, Virginia. There they found enough land, water and other resources needed to establish a post large enough to simultaneously train more than one infantry division. The site also offered easy railroad access to both mountain and coastal training sites. By December, 1941, 45,867 acres (185.62 km2) of land in Nottoway, Dinwiddie, Lunenburg and Brunswick Counties were acquired and cleared to prepare for construction of the first buildings.

So weird...another military installation named after a Confederate general during a supposed progressive POTUS.
