Doogie - I live in Tacoma. That bar is incredible. People bashing Tacoma don't get it. It's what Seattle used to be before ultra liberal politics, tech, and traffic ruined it. Beautiful older affordable homes, access to the water, local restaurants and pubs, and people who actually fucking talk to each other. From the North End you can literally walk to many of these establishments below and local light rail being installed will further improve access.
