In 1960 Detroit had more millionaires than NYC.Then the socialist dems took over and for some unknown reason the car industry started moving out. Taxes, crime and riots aren't good for capital investment. True story.

It's also because Detroit hasn't made many cars since the early 70's that anyone actually wants to drive.

This was true about 15 years ago. Say hi to your Camry for me.

Your AG Bob Ferguson just filed in the E WA District Court suing the Feds for limiting the CARE money to US citizens only.

Because, while US citizens are suffering from unemployment rates reaching Depression levels and worrying whether they can pay their rent and buy food... the compassionate thing to do to subsidize illegals.

Something ain't right about that, folks.

Has anyone seen Bob Ferguson and @HHusky in the same room together?

Bob is probably dumber than H which says a LOT
    Everyone is.

Actually had a 2001 Chevy Suburban and it was a great car for my needs. At that time, not much domestic or foreign competition in that size. Today have a Ford Escape for the spousal unit and an Explorer for me. Been great vehicles. But back in the 70s and 80s tough to find an American car that wasn't a POS.

American trucks and real SUV's with frames are the shit. Cars, not so much.

What's the over under on Seattle turning into the West Coast Detroit?

Pass a state income tax and find out
OR has state income tax. So does CA.

Detroit became Detroit became cuz white flight to the burbs. Not out of state.

Detroit became Detroit because the entire auto industry and manufacturing jobs left the city.
Yeah, I totally can't see the tech industry and boeing packing up shop and leaving after an income tax and a head tax are implemented...

Chevy as usual went off the rails on the Suburban. New one have bad lines and cost too much. My neighborhood in the early 2000 had homes that rocked either a Suburban, Tahoe or an Expedition. Hardly any to be seen. Surprising amounts of Audi Q7, BMW X5, Acura MDX, and Range Rovers.

I'm very happy with my Chevy Truck. I've had much better performance and luck with Chevy vs Ford or Dodge. The Japanese trucks are fine for little stuff, but every time my Toyota and Nissan buddies need something big and heavy transported, they call me.

Chevy cars? No fucking way. Never.

My Nissan Titan has superior towing capacity.

It also has a superior gas bill.

Diesel. Japs don't know how to do 'em and that's what real men buy for towing.

Nobody makes cars anymore. Trucks, trucks, and more trucks! Ford killed all cars off but the Mustang.

No, they don't. And nobody buys them, either. That truck hasn't been redesigned in over 10 years.

How many loads of firewood has it hauled to your cabin?

Be honest. And please don't tell me you have a push-button fireplace, or I'll cry.

Poor people haul their own firewood. Besides out there, I walk into the woods, fire up the chainsaw, throw the firewood in the Kubota and done.

I'll be honest - the Titan has a bed cover and is for shit hauling stuff. Have contemplated taking it off but then the entire winter/snow makes for a horrific mess in the truck bed. Instead I keep about 20 bags of sand/salt for weight and it's better to keep them covered.

I have a nice trailer that i use for transport.

The Titan's primary purpose is snow plow truck/pull boat. Occasionally pull Mrs. Throbber v2.0 out of the ditch when she slides off in the winter.
