Eli is NOT a Hall of Famer

Stats are not there. If you're going to use the tired Super Bowl argument, then put Fill Simms in it too.

He was a good quarterback. That's it.

He wasn't eve that good. Career stats are mediocre. He gets volume stats through longevity, but being mediocre for a long time isn't HOF worthy. He simply had flashes of brilliance that translated into 2 super bowls. And also a defense that got super super hot.

Eli is a sure fire HOF. 57,000 yds (20,000 more than Simms) 366 TDs (170 more than Simms). 4 time pro bowler (2 more than Simms) and 2 super bowl wins.

He offers a better portfolio than HOFs Jim Kelley and has better bulk than Warren Moon (although half the pro bowls) and 2 super bowl rings. Career top 10 in passing yards, completions and TDs.

Make your argument Eli sucks but he's future HOF, maybe on the first ballot.

Eli is famous. Hence the induction into the HOF. Better than Namath objectively. But Joe was famous too.

Eli led two game winning drives against the greatest dynasty of the century. I don't care much for him or the Giants and I wanted 19-0 but winners win.

    Its enough
