I won't act thrilled to see him go as I think he is pretty good but it was inevitable. If not this off season it would be next or the one after. A lot of Wilcox's duds this season are in thanks to Sark not being able to keep a high tempo offense on the field for more than 1 series of plays. Wilcox had to defend like 600 possessions a game, college teams are bound to score.
Still, I would have gladly taken the scenario where Sark is gone and the entire coaching staff goes with him in a heartbeat, especially for a name like Petersen.
See ya! Good fucking riddance....he really didn't do that much better than Uncle Fester considering he had Peters, Shelton, Shaq, Parker, Shirley and Haoli Whateverhecallshimselfnow etc. The sked just got easier. Holt's D led to 5-4 in conference (with several yearly plunger rapes)....Wilcox's D led to 5-4 in conference (with several yearly plunger rapes). Samefag is same.
It's the head man that gets you over the top...or not.
I think Wilcox is a good coach. The improvement from the awesome dipshit was too dramatic not to mean something. Wilcox had a couple of games every year where he couldn't stop anyone. The previous DC had that problem in every game. There was a difference.
He's obviously no genius though. A genius would recognize the limitations Sark is putting on him via the dude-brah culture and the high speed three-and-out offense.

The contribution by U$C is appreciated though.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out ...

Loosing him is far from a disaster.
