my cousin took his life Friday, lockdown canceled his ongoing mental health appointments at local hospital. Former marine, served in Iraq, wires crossed, PTSD, blah blah.

puts some counterweight on the “saving lives” narrative of the lockdown.

Sorry for your loss. It truly is the most frustrating part about what's going on. There are no considerations to saving life outside of "science" in favor of shelter in place. Almost like it's agenda driven.

If those appointments were cut off by rule or law, that is criminal misconduct in my opinion.

All deaths are China virus deaths. Hospitals get money for those.

Yeah the family is looking into it, shitty road to go down but the system isn’t blameless right now

That's actually the second suicide I've heard of with one degree of separation. Very sorry for your loss.

Haven't heard of a single case of COVID in the two months we've been under house arrest. Not a single one confirmed and tested, let alone died from the invisible Dazzler boner inducer.

The fallout from this is going to be massive in terms of death over the next couple years. It is going to dwarf whatever power play Benito and Adolph are running in Cali and WA. Not even gonna be close.

    But but one life saved.

    Fuck off.

A girl with a few clean years under her belt on my sober softball team OD'd a few weeks ago.

Games are essentially weekly meetings, it gets shut down, support structure cracks and she's dead.

Still don't know anyone who knows anyone that's been sick.

    Sober softball team? Pass
    Mine is quite the opposite.

I would even argue that sobriety is an unfair competitive advantage.

bummer of a thread here - but important - people on the edge are starting to loose it. Too bad more politicians aren't on the edge - don't twist

The people that have and will die from the lockdown will probably exceed those killed. by it.

File those under asymptomatic covid deaths.
