That was a chuckle. He said he was only providing the "concrete stuff", implying that the less concrete stuff was going to be even juicier. I read the entire thing and never ran into anything concrete at all. Just rumors and a tidbit of hyperbole from Sirmon.
Perhaps the concrete stuff is coming in part deux.
Yaledawg pointed out that there was mention of a single line player in the whole report (McGary). It's also worth mentioning that Ecklund's "concrete" info on him was that he never doubted Sark would easily pull him in spite of all the available information pointing toward him leaning elsewhere.
Very revelatory and worthy of all the ball gargling he earned. -

When Eklund asks Sirmon "how is recruiting going" what the fuck does he expect Sirmon to say? Of course he is going to say it is going great. It's the same thing with Kim when he asked Tosh about recruiting to USC. It would only cause problems if he told the truth and said yes.
This is why Fleenor, Kim, Fetters, and Eklund are so fucking clueless. They have access to the coaches, but the coaches always lie to them, but these guys report anything they say as fact. It's all because they are dying to be insiders, but it's never going to happen. -

All skill guys and very little concrete OL/DL info ...
Lots of 3-star type guys ... which is what Petersen is going to most likely pull in anyway.
The only one that I'll concede is that we "might" have had a shot at Mixon w/ the Sark staff ... but whatever on that. While great RBs are great, they are dependent upon a good OL.
Bottom line is that Sark's still never won more than 5 games in conference and he still devalues the importance of line play. -
